NCM WAN Uptime

This article describes the current WAN Uptime feature within Net Cloud Manager (NCM) and how to view analytics on the network, group, and device level. WAN Uptime analytics provides you with an estimated wide area network (WAN) uptime availability based on a rotating 30-day window across all available interfaces that provide external connectivity. This information can be used to potentially spot any poorly performing sites or devices.
WAN Uptime analytics tracks the network interface connection uptime reported from the device itself and reports this information in NCM.
Note: Firmware 6.2.0 or newer is required on routers to track their uptime.
Upon navigating to Dashboard -> Uptime in NCM, you will be presented with the Network Uptime Overview:
The network level will provide an overall Total WAN Uptime readout and the daily WAN Uptime readout. You will also be provided visibility to the WAN Uptime of your groups (1, bottom left) and individual devices (2, bottom right).
Navigate to the Groups tab and click on the name of the group you wish to view the uptime of:
Scroll down to the WAN Uptime section and you will be provided an overview of the uptime of the group, along with a breakdown of the individual device uptime on the right-hand side.
Navigate to the Devices tab and click on the name of the device you wish to view the uptime of:
Scroll down to the WAN Uptime section and you will be provided an overview of the uptime of the device.
