Why is Cradlepoint charging for Support?

Cradlepoint has made significant investments in our support organization over the last year and a half, as a result of this investment we can now guarantee a high level of support while maintaining very low to no wait time to speak with a Support Engineer.

 

What does paying for support provide me?

Paid Support provides access to highly trained Support Engineers to assist with configuration of all features included in your Cradlepoint router. These features include, but are not limited to configuration of; Advanced Routing Protocols, IPSec VPN Tunnels, IP Pass-Through, WiFi Bridge, Serial Redirect, Quality of Service (QoS), WAN/LAN Affinity.

 

I am a Consumer or Small/Medium Business, do I have to pay for support?

Yes, Cradlepoint Support will differentiate between the type of product or type of customer when providing support.

 

What are my options if I choose not to pay for support?

Customers who choose not to purchase a CradleCare Support Agreement, will still have access to our online Support Knowledgebase. Here most of your questions or concerns will likely be provided. Significant investment in Articles, FAQs, and How-To videos have and continue to be made.

 

If I am an Enterprise level customer do I have to purchase a CradleCare support agreement?

All Enterprise level customers will be required to purchase a CradleCare Support Agreement for each device they would like support with.

The options available for support are dependent on model of Cradlepoint router.

  2. Contact the Cradlepoint partner you purchased the unit through.
  3. Contact your assigned CradlePoint Sales Engineer. (if applicable)
