  • No LAN connection
  • Ethernet port doesn't work
  • Dead ethernet port
  • WAN / LAN ports not working
  • Router has a dead eth port
Environment
  • Ethernet port worked previously
Resolution
  1. Swap ethernet cables
  2. Try using a different client device / computer
  3. Connect to the router wirelessly OR:
  4. Connect to a different Ethernet port
  5. Review the router's configuration:
    • Ethernet port settings
    • LAN settings
    • Attached LAN interfaces
    • VLAN settings
  6. Review the router logs for link-related messages: How to save a router Support Log
  7. Factory reset the Cradlepoint: How to do an extended factory reset
  8. If the ethernet port still provides no link and shows no LED activity, review How can I get an RMA replacement?
